According to the Roulette Rules, the game may be played by 7 people max at once. The croupier (dealer) is the one responsible for the wheel, the ball and the payouts. The players' task is to place the bets before the dealer calls "No more bets".
All players according to the roulette rules, place the bets and wait for the ball to land on one of the slots of the wheel. The wheel consists of slots numbered from 1 to 36 and the 0 (+ 00 in American roulette) slot. As you can see, the roulette rules are very easy and this is probably why the game has a lot of those who love it.
Roulette Rules: Object of the game
The main aim of any player is to guess the number that will be on the slot where the ball lands. The bets in the game are various, starting with the ones with the highest and to the lowest odds bets.
Betting
Prior to betting you are to purchase the chips and exchange them for the roulette chips. According to the roulette rules, if there is more than one player at the same table, each player's chips will be colored in one color. For example, the player 1 will have all his chips red, the player 2 - blue and so on. After the player decides to leave he may exchange his chips for regular ones.
All the bets in the roulette game are divided into two groups, the inside (on the number grid) and outside bets (outside of the layout).

The Inside Bets:
Straight (Up) Bet - the bet made on a single number. The bet is paid out 35 to 1.
Split Bet - the bet that covers two numbers that share one line. In case of a win, the payout is 17 to 1.
Corner Bet - Bet on a block of 4 numbers. The payouts are 8 to 1.
Street Bet - A bet made on a row of 3 numbers, pays 11 to 1.
Special Line Bet - the bet which is made by placing a chip on a group of 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3. This bet returns 6 to 1.
Outside Bets:
Dozens - The player bets on one number from within a range of whether 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36 will win. This bet pays 2 to 1.
Odd or Even - Place the bet in the Odd or in the Even zone. If you win, you will be paid 1 to 1.
Red or Black - The bet is made on one of two colors of the next number. Pays 1 to 1.
Column Bet - The player bets on one of the 3 columns of the betting table. The bet pays off 2 to 1.
High / Low Number - This bet is on one of the two groups of numbers. High numbers are from 19 to 36, and low are 1-18. This bet does not include 0 or 00. In case of a win it pays 1 to 1.
